On a serious note, I want to say the biggest thank you to every single person who took the time to leave a review after reading one of my books (good, bad, or indifferent – they all count). Not to be dramatic, but reviews are the lifeblood of indie authors. They help to get our books out there into the big wide world. Even a couple of words, or just a star rating, makes a huge difference. Goodreads and Amazon are the main two platforms for people leaving book reviews, if you want to leave a review for a book you’ve read. Also, fun fact, you don’t have to buy a book from Amazon to leave a review there.
In this crazy non-stop world we live in, I genuinely do value that your time is important, which is why those of you who choose to read books by indie authors (and then go on to leave reviews too!) are a very special breed of people, and I appreciate you more than you could possibly know – irrespective of whether you read my books, or books from other indie authors, you guys are incredible. In the eternal words of Alice Tinker from the hit BBC series The Vicar of Dibley, I’d love to give you all big wet kisses and licks. ❤
