It’s been just over a week since BLOODY HELL: An Anthology of UK Indie Horror went on sale. This last week has been an absolute whirlwind. Hell, this whole project has been a whirlwind. What started as a post on a Facebook group wondering aloud whether we should put together an anthology to celebrate and showcase British horror talent, turned into something absolutely incredible. Somehow, I ended up heading the project and I am so immensely grateful for that.
Editing books for clients is one thing – I do that day in day out, but putting something like this together – collecting and collating stories, editing, hiring an illustrator, formatting, marketing, and deciding to do a limited run of 100 hardbacks… It’s been a learning curve, to say the least. I cannot tell you how proud I am of the outcome; of all the authors, and of Rachael Rose, our illustrator. This book is a thing of beauty and I am so proud to have my name on the cover, to be the one who gets to share these stories with the world.
Throughout the last week, BLOODY HELL has been consistently at the top of the Amazon charts. As I type this, it’s sitting at number 1 in Amazon’s Hot New Releases for Horror Anthologies, and at 13 in the overall Horror Anthologies charts.

And those limited edition 100 hardbacks… We’ve already sold over 70 of them! Each comes with a print from the book signed by Rachael Rose, and some goodies from participating authors. They’re just absolutely beyond beautiful! You can grab them here: http://www.markofthewitch.sumupstore.com

The first 25 left my house today. Tracking information will be sent directly from the Royal Mail to your email addresses. There will never be any further hardbacks of this book. This is your only chance to get one. They make great birthday presents, and look beautiful on a shelf 😉
Thank you to every single person who has talked about this book, read this book, reviewed this book, and who has contributed to it in any capacity. I am so proud to be part of the indie horror community.
I want to end by saying a huge thank you to the authors. They allowed me to share their stories with you, and I will be forever grateful of that. Here’s the blurb, and author list. Please please check out the authors’ work. They’re so talented and I want to shout their names from the rooftops!
