Yes, this blog is pretty self-explanatory. It’s going to be a short one. A humble brag, if you will! I started working through the Fiverr platform nearly two years ago now. Fiverr is the only reason I was able to make my passion my actual job. I owe pretty much everything to the platform. Despite having this website, it is still the main platform I work through and I would welcome you all to take a look at my profile and place an order through there, if you wish. While you’re there, take a sneaky peek at my reviews. They’re something I’m ridiculously proud of.
Fiverr is a great platform to start your freelancing career. I should know! Since I first made my profile, in a moment of ‘How the hell am I supposed to make a living doing this?’, my career has revolved around projects gained through the platform. I have been able to hone my skills in both editing and ghostwriting and learn the ins and outs of the trade. While sometimes Fiverr is looked at with scepticism, I can wholeheartedly say that the platform is full of freelancers, like me, who put everything into their work. No matter what kind of professional you are looking for, you can be sure to find them through the Fiverr platform.
To be a top-rated seller you have to achieve targets set out by Fiverr. And, after nearly two years, I’ve ticked all the boxes and I’m up there with some of the best! You might be able to tell that my career in writing is quite literally everything to me, and I genuinely have Fiverr to thank for making it a reality. I cannot see a time in my life where I would move away from the platform. Of course, I have my own website too, but Fiverr is a great companion for clients wishing to place orders with me as well, especially if you are (understandably) looking for insurance on the project. All I ask is that if you find me through Fiverr, rather than other platforms, you place the order through the Fiverr site.
So, to summarise, “Yay me!” In January 2020, I said to my partner that my aim for this year would be to reach top-seller status on Fiverr. In order to do this, I had to double the amount of orders I had in 2019. As my reviews grew, it became easy to fill my diary, and so here I am. A Fiverr top-seller. A great ending to an otherwise iffy year, if you ask me!
